WSTS
World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) & EECA-ESIA
Established in 1986, WSTS is an organisation of 73 semiconductor companies from all over the world representing close to 90% of the world's semiconductor market. Its mission is to provide timely, accurate and authentic semiconductor market data on industry product shipments in a product line form serving the broad marketing and executive needs, therefore documenting past - and anticipating future business trends.
Revenue data is collected directly, authentically and monthly from WSTS member companies. In order to provide total worldwide market data non-participant estimates are added to the reported numbers by WSTS.
Through its exclusive license agreement with the WSTS for the region of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), EECA-ESIA offers yearly subscriptions to global semiconductor market data on industry product shipments in a product line format. Past experience has shown that the statistics are of special interest to the wider industry, as well as to the banking community, and specialised business publications.. Companies and subscribers benefit from WSTS by having access to this primary source of market data.
All products are in electronic format, and subscriptions are available on an annual basis, starting in January.

Blue Books
- Monthly reports
- Monthly billings of the semiconductor industry by 4 regions and 193 product categories, 159 of them in units and revenues. Products that are designed for specific applications are documented in application specific categories (currently 72)
- Data available in XLS format and synopsis in PDF
Green Books
- Monthly reports
- Historical up to date presentation of Blue Book data in 500 diagrams. The file is in PDF format

- Bi- annual reports, Spring and Autumn
- Forecast by region and product (format similar to monthly billing report "Blue Book")

- Billings of 17 major product lines into 6 end-use market segments, broken down into 4 regions. This report matches the 12 month totals of the Blue Book report

Service
EECA-ESIA activates a personal access for the subscriber, who will receive the access codes after receipt of payment. The subscriber will also receive a calendar with the provisional release dates. As those dates may be subject to slight changes, EECA-ESIA will notify by email the exact date and time when data are available on the website. Questions about data can be addressed to the EECA Secretariat. A pool of industry experts are available to answer to subscribers’ requests.
