Modes of transport

 

If coming from the airport

 
  • By taxi: the journey takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes (depending on traffic).
    •  
  • By bus: number 12 'Airport Line' – these buses go directly from the airport to the Diamant stop.From the Diamant (metro & underground tram station), take the trams 23 or 24 in the direction Vanderkindere. Only 2 stops and get off at Montgomery stop, exit Square Maréchal/Avenue de Tervueren. Follow this avenue and turn the first to your right. (See map)You will see the rue de la Duchesse (Hertoginestraat )

  • By train: from the airport to Gare du Nord,Gare Central or Gare du Midi. See below  directions from each train station to Montgomery metro station.

  • If coming from the Gare Central


    Take the metro Line 1 in the direction Stockel (5 stops).Get off at the Montgomery stop, exit Square Maréchal/Avenue de Tervueren. Follow this avenue and turn  the first to your right (See map).You will see the rue de la Duchesse (Hertoginestraat )

  • If coming from the Gare du Nord

  • Take the tram number 25 in the direction of Boodaal/Boondael. Get off at the Montgomery stop, exit Square Maréchal/Avenue de Tervueren. Follow this avenue and turn  the first to your right (See map).You will see the rue de la Duchesse (Hertoginestraat )

  • If coming from the Gare du Midi

  • Take the Metro in the direction of Simonis (Leopold II) line 2 and change at Arts-Loi, taking the metro in the direction of Stockel/Stokkel (line 1) to Montgomery. Take the exit Square Maréchal/Avenue de Tervueren. Follow this avenue and turn the first to your right. (See map)You will see the rue de la Duchesse (Hertoginestraat )

  • If coming by car

  • Coming via the E40 motorway (Cologne, Liège, Leuven, Kraainem, Brussels) or (London, Oostende, Gent, Brussels), the E19 (Breda, Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels) or the E411 (Namur): take the Brussels ring road and follow signposts to the E40 (Leuven, Liège, Cologne) in the direction of 'Brussels centre', until you get to exit 18.
